GENERAL DISCLOSURES

By way of general disclosure, the following matters are disclosed or deemed disclosed to the Purchaser in relation to the Warranties and the Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that they shall be treated as disclosed (in each case to the extent they constitute a “Disclosure” as defined in the Agreement):-
In servicing your desktop or laptop, onPhiya Computer Repair warrants that service will be performed in a professional and timely manner. We offer a 30-day limited computer repair warranty on all computer repairs and upgrades – unless specified below. We will demonstrate that the repair is complete at the time you pick up your device.

If the issue from the original work order reoccurs within 30 days (or hardware specified below) and has not been caused by physical damage, negligence or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party, we will perform the service again at no charge.

You have 30 days to pick up any equipment after an attempt of communication has been made about completion of the repairs. On the 31st calendar you will forfeit your items and any deposits left are non-refundable. In the event of any stay at home orders placed during this time the time will continue when the orders are lifted.

Hardware Replacement Repair Warranty:

Replacement will be provided free of charge during our 30-day limited warranty or specified warranty periods below ONLY for the specific hardware purchased, installed and replaced by onPhiya documented on your repair invoice has been diagnosed as defective, at fault, and has failed under normal operating conditions & use. The warranty covers ONLY the hardware replaced, and installed by us that is documented on your repair invoice. NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS.

What Is Covered Under Our Phone/Tablet Limited Repair Warranty:

  • The specific hardware component(s) replaced, installed & documented in detail on your repair invoice.
  • – Black or distorted LCD screen (if replaced).
  • “Ghost touch”, erratic touch screen behavior, unresponsive touch screen or dead spot. (If replaced by onPhiya)
  • Touch screen separation from iPad frame.

What IS NOT Included Under Our Phone/TabletLimited Repair Warranty:

  • Physical damage, negligence, or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party.
  • Cracked screen, shattered screen, hairline crack(s), dropped, liquid damage.
  • Mishandling that causes the frame to bend or twist.
  • Acts of “Mother Nature”
  • If the device has been opened up either by user or other 3rd party.
  • Damage resulting from attempted customer repairs or other 3rd party.
  • Software or “App” issues unrelated to the repair.
  • New damages unrelated to the original repair.
  • Other hardware / electronic failures not related to the specific repair documented in detail on your repair invoice.

LCD Screen Replacement Warranty – 30 Days:

30 Day Limited Warranty covers screen manufacture hardware defects, screen failure under normal conditions & use. Replacement will be provided free of charge during first 30 days from invoice ONLY if new screen purchased, installed and replaced by onPhiya is diagnosed to be defective, at fault, and has failed under normal working conditions.

What Is Covered Under Our Laptop Screen Limited Replacement Warranty:

  • The new LCD screen & installation of the new LCD screen documented in detail on your repair invoice.
  • Horizontal lines, distorted or pixelated LCD display screen.

What IS NOT Covered Under Our Laptop Screen Limited Replacement Warranty:

  • Signs of physical damage, negligence, or misuse on behalf of the customer or other third party.
  • Cracked screen, shattered screen, hairline crack(s) or liquid damage.
  • Damage resulting from attempted customer repairs or other 3rd party.
  • Black “blotches” on screen, indicate physical damage – excessive pressure to lcd screen.
  • Software issues unrelated to the repair.
  • New damages unrelated to the original repair.
  • Other hardware / electronic failures not related to the specific repair documented in detail on your repair invoice.

Not Covered Under Computer Repair Warranty

There are NO warranties that involve personal or 3rd party software issues.

There are NO warranties that involve subsequent virus – malware – spyware – adware infections.

We provide what we believe is that best protection against viruses and spyware at the time of service. There is no 100% protection against these type computer threats. Each computer is susceptible to viruses. There is no free or paid Anti-Virus, Anti Spyware program that is “100% bullet proof”. We cannot control your internet surfing habits, your downloads, program installs and your email.

Shipping:

If your device has failed under warranty, and customer has relocated, shipping is not covered under warranty.Customer is responsible for shipping charges.

Problems and issues caused by negligence, misuse or physical damage on behalf of the customer or other third party.

(“Third Party” = Another user, person or company or indirect non related hardware or software issues)
Additional software, hardware, parts, system upgrades added OR installed to the system by the user.
For manufacture hardware component specific replacement warranty, labor & reinstallation of the warranty replacement component is not included beyond our own 30-day limited warranty on the initial repair of. You are responsible for knowing the manufactures warranty terms (via manufactures website), registering the product if required by the manufacture and return of the component to the manufacture under their own warranty.

If our assistance is required after a customer attempted to solve a problem out of their own accord, the repair there of will not be covered under the warranty.

Warranty is void if our internal warranty repair seal is ripped or tampered with.
This warranty does not cover any loss of business, profits, or other consequential damage, real or perceived, that may have resulted from any malfunction of the computer system nor does it cover any hardware or software installed by the user.

Damage from flood, lightning strikes, earthquake, any other acts of God, mishandling, dropping, or infestation is not covered by this warranty.

The limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from damage caused by failure to provide a suitable installation or operating environment for the product and/or accessories; damage caused by impact with other objects, dropping, falls, spilled liquids or immersion in liquids; servicing not authorized by onPhiya, usage not in accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required preventive maintenance, accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, natural disasters such as flood, fire, earthquake or lightening, problems with electrical power such as power surges and problems caused by use of parts, components, services or software not supplied by onPhiya.

Warranty coverage will not apply in the event the serial number, unit number or rating label has been removed, altered or defaced. This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from failure to back up your data or other files, nor does it cover damage caused by programs, data, viruses or other files. onPhiya is not responsible for any loss of your data and recommends that the consumer maintains a back-up system at all times to rebuild or reconstruct lost or altered files, data or programs.

onPhiya makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to services provided by Internet Service Providers. This includes their ability to provide services, their ability to work with our systems, interruption of service, or their ability to sustain such services over extended periods of time. onPhiya is not affiliated and has no agency relationship with providers of such services and is not responsible for their actions or inactions. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to Internet retail products or services provided by other companies, or accessibility via its website. Although your computer system may include programs, software or access to certain providers, onPhiya makes no guarantee of access to providers, programs, software or websites.
This limited warranty does not cover any items in the following categories: software; sound cards, joysticks, printers, scanners, speakers, cameras, (Collectively “Accessories”); other external peripherals; Accessories or parts added to a onPhiya computer system. These components may have a warranty from their respective manufacturers.
onPhiya reserves the right to determine whether alterations have been made, or damages caused, by such facts that would serve to void the terms of this warranty.

We strive to make each repair very reliable and take great effort in building and fine tuning every system. We take precautions to prevent static damage to any component and are very careful installing/removing vital components. Due to our warranty coverage and my reputation, we do not want any other shop or the actual customer to open/install/uninstall any internal component. This is a reasonable request since onPhiya is backing up our workmanship.
